The first six photographs on this page are of my home. I decided to take photographs for this website prior to meeting with the Paul of Spot on Roofing. My roof has been checked every couple of years by roofing companies and damage fixed - or so we thought. imagine my dismay when discovering the damaged tiles, cement falling out and many cracks temporarily repaired with sealer which should have been repaired properly. These repairs were made less than one year after our insurance company APIA had requested an inspection then repairs. We contacted the insurance company after storms had damaged one corner of the roof.
There was more than one roofing company involved over several years.
The other photographs are supplied by Spoton Roofing. Some of the photographs are of a newly built block of units where the roof is literally falling off. The rest are of roofs requiring repair because of age or damage to tiles.
In future we will be checking any work done on our roof.
All work guaranteed for 10 years
1. Remove all broken roof tiles and replace using a similar age tile.
2. Pressure clean the entire roof area from top to bottom with water pressure.
3. Clean out all gutters and wash down all Down pipes and external walls and affected area around
4. If needed, replace rusted valley irons.
5. Fit extras such as Whirly Birds if needed. Repair or replace, Lead Flashing's if needed, and damaged timber battens.
6. Strip off capping or gable end and re-bed where required as specified.
7. Re point all capping and gables using Flexi-Point. Ridge security system.
8. Inspect roof and blow clean the nitre roof area off.
9. Apply 1 coat of sealer.
10. Hand paint gables and flashing's to avoid any over spray and spray 2 coats of colour, so all up 3 coats.
